Privacy Policy
Your collection is yours
Last updated 23 October 2026
In short
FoilFold has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It does not collect personal data, and the developer cannot see your collection.
What stays on your devices
- Your collection (which cards you own, how many, and their condition, language and finish) is stored on your device.
- If iCloud is turned on, the collection also syncs through your own private iCloud database (Apple's CloudKit), so it appears on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. Only your Apple Account can read it; Apple's privacy policy applies.
- Settings (currency, default condition, language and finish, sorting and filters) and recent searches stay on the device.
- CSV files you import or export go only where you choose to save or share them.
What the app downloads
- Card catalog and price updates come from FoilFold's server. These requests contain no information about you or your collection. Like any web server, it receives your device's IP address with each request; it is not used to identify you.
- Card images are loaded from Scryfall's image server, which receives the same kind of request information. See Scryfall's privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
